My next project : a hood with scarf

I found, in my many wools, 6 skeins of burgundy Velvet. I bought them last year to knit a waistcoat. My mum bought the same wool in black to knit a sweater. She had to buy 4 more slkeins to finish her sweater... so my waistcoat might be small or without sleeves. For winter I prefer to have sleeves to my clothes.

As I'm not about to go back to the shop and as I want to knit a hood with scarf, I decided to use this wool because it's very soft and seems hot.

In garnstudio website, I found this very simple pattern which will allow me to be very hot during the first frost which will come soon and during winter too.

So, some lighter projects will be delayed because they can not be worn until the end of spring. I must stop always changing priorities on my to-do list each time I "find" a wool or when I find a pattern that suits me. Otherwise some projects will not be knitted...
