A very useful storage for your sewing machine spools

If you're like me, you've got a pretty large number of spools which allows you to leave them with threads when you regularly change color...

Unfortunately, a few times ago, I realized that my spools had the bad habbit of unwinding in my standard box. In my box there are all my spools and the threads I bought to sew. There is no system on the machine spools to stop the thread to unwind. So, as time flews, they unwind and threads went mixing... What a pain when one needs to get a spool which is mixed with the others !!!

While preparing an order at Mercerie ServiPlus, I nosed around their site and found a box for spools storage. So I invested in this small box...

What a pleasant feeling !!! Spools are tidied up, they don't unwind beetween 2 uses and they are always ready to use. As I see them all in one glimpse, I know if I need an empty spool for a color or if the color I need is already on a spool, avoiding to wind 2 spools with the same color.

So if you have 5.17€ to invest into sewing storage, I frankly advise you to invest in this box.
