A knitted doll skirt (A shape)

There are a few weeks, the teacher of the small children of my son's school asked me a hand to make clothes for her dolls that are naked.

I started to dig into the affairs of my mom who collects dolls to retrieve clothes the right size.
Unfortunately for the teacher, there was a few suitable clothes. In fact, dolls of the class have a very thick body which is not the case of my mom's dolls.
Some supplies later, here I am looking for patterns on the net ... but I find patterns for dolls that have a wasp waist compared to dolls I have to dress ...

So I had to create clothing designs to knit and I'll share it.

Waist of the doll: 31 cm
Leg ankle-height: 18 cm
Soft and flexible body

Supplies:
Wool knitted with needles No. 4: jauge 20 stitches * 20 rows = 10 cm * 10 cm
A pair of needle n° 4
Hook n°4
Sewing wool needle

The skirt is made of two identical trapezoids sewn together and will be closed by a cord to the hook.

To do 2 times:
Cast on 28 stitches
Work 6 rows in 2/2 ribs (3 cm)

pattern to repeat : knit 6 rows in stockinette in raspberry and 4 rows of garter in anise; repeat 3 times

On the 1st row in stockinette add 6 sts evenly
On the 11th row make one increase on each side
On the 13th row make 2 increases on each side
On the 15th row make 2 increases on each side

After the third repetition of the pattern stockinette in raspberry - garter in green anise, make 4 rows in stockinette in raspberry then knit in 2/2 ribs in rasberry (1.5 cm)
Cast off loosely

Sew the two pieces right side against right side. Weave in ends


For the link, make a chain with hook No. 4 by taking a thread of each color. Stop when you reach 1 meter chain.

Thread the string through the holes created by increases on the first row.
